It occurred to me that I can perhaps take the reader through
the adventure of eternity; from the time you “wake up” (after
physical death) on the first mansion world until you attain
Paradise, is embraced by God, and is mustered in the Corps of the
Finality. It’s a very long voyage through the universe; the time
involved is beyond human understanding. But what a grand
adventure this is; it is filled with delights, learning, and
challenges that cannot be described in human terms.

To condense all that in an article proved a daunting task.
But it was also a labor of love.

It is a long article; so be patient.

2. While “The Third Article of Faith” is not a prerequisite
to understand this article, if you haven’t read it, you are
urged to read it first. If you do not wish to read the whole
thing, read at least Parts I, VI, and XII.

3. As much as possible, I am providing you with the page
numbers. The whole Book is online; feel free to go to the site
(www.urantia.org ), enter in the search area the page number, and
you’ll get pages before, after, the beginning of the paper in
question, the next paper, etc.

A word of caution. The revelators talked of receptivity,
i.e. the humans on our planet who are ready for these
revelations. The overwhelming majority are not. It may take a
century or more for that to happen. Therefore, unless you feel
ready, I strongly suggest that you stick to my article and don’t
go to the Book. Indeed, I would go as far as saying that if my
article (or parts thereof) trouble you, or contradict your
religious beliefs, then leave it alone.

4. Before you get to the part where you “open your eyes” on
the first world of our system of Satania, there are a number of
parts that, out of necessity, are included. I cannot, for
example, talk of the first sphere you will inhabit without
talking of architectural worlds, and describing Satania and how
it is administered. I also need to provide you with an overview
of the grand universe. Indeed, I have to start with the Deity,
the nature of the Trinity, the decision to create, and what
creation entails. Even when I start in earnest, my narration
will include Beings, Places, and Concepts that are needed for you
overall understanding.

Be patient. After all, you have eternity ahead of you!

5. I introduce, at times, names of Personalities,
Locations, etc., without further explanations. I may eventually
explain what the term means, or I may not. There are so many
details in the Book, it’s impossible to stop and explain
everything. The Revelators had the same problem except that
everything was eventually explained. That won’t be the case
here.

6. Out of necessity, many topics that are overly long
and/or complex had to be broken into parts. For example, “The
Seven Mansion Worlds (1 of 7)”, “The Seven … (2 of 7)”, and so
on. I’ve done my best to do so in a logical way. Nevertheless,
if you find it disruptive or frustrating, you can elect to wait
until all parts are published before reading the whole thing.

7. I have encountered, or read the comments, of many people
that are ready to challenge the Book’s contents. I have no
patience with these individuals. They haven’t read the Book,
they simply take passages out of context to “make their case.”
Their favorite weapon: All the unusual names in the Book. And
that is indeed what I want to talk about.

Don’t get hung up on names such as Nebadon, Jerusem,
Satania, Havona, Perfection of Days, Recent of Days, Vorondadek
and Lanonandek Sons and so on.

You might say that Satania comes from Satan. Perhaps. But
so what? That Jerusem comes from Jerusalem. For your
information, Jerusem, the capital of our system, existed long
before our planet even came into being! Moreover, Jerusalem
started as the community of Salem founded by Machiventa
Melchizedek. It then became the city of Jebus; and only after
that was it named Jerusalem, a name most probably derived from
Jerusem! Even Urantia is similar to Uranus. Rest assured that
the name Urantia was known in the far past on our planet. And
that was long before we were advanced enough to identify and name
the planets in our solar system.

The Revelators had a lot of trouble using one of the
languages of the realm to transmit the papers. They complained
to their human collaborators (but not in the book itself) about
the “extreme paucity of the English language.” Now English is
one of the richest language we have on this planet. To my mind
it is also the most versatile. But for Higher Personalities who
have been commissioned to deliver complex revelations, it was a
very poor language indeed.

The Higher Beings did the best they could. That they
succeeded in giving us the Urantia Book is a testimony to their
supernal capabilities. One of them explain the dilemma the
revelators faced in the next passage.

“These triune rulers of the major sectors are peculiarly
perfect in the mastery of administrative details, hence their
name – Perfections of Days. In recording the names of these
beings of the spiritual world, we are confronted with the problem
of translating into your tongue, and very often it is exceedingly
difficult to render a satisfactory translation. We dislike to
use arbitrary designations which would be meaningless to you;
hence we often find it difficult to choose a suitable name, one
which will be clear to you and at the same time be somewhat
representative of the original.” [P210].

8. Why should I accept the Urantia Book’s teachings and by
extension your article?

You don’t! You are a thinking human being, and you’re
endowed with freewill. I would be shocked if anybody tells me
that he or she has accepted, at face value, in part or in whole,
the content of this article. You use my narrative as a starting
point, or simply read it out of curiosity.

It took me a year to accept that the Book was written by
Celestial Beings and not by humans. It took me many years to
accept most of the concepts in the Book. Some I have not yet
accepted and probably won’t while I dwell in the flesh. The same
applies to other readers of the Book.

9. I used to be a part of a study group that has long ago
disbanded. There is now a new group in Ottawa. Study groups no
doubt exist in all the major cities in the world. If you live in
Chicago, you can meet readers who are part of a study group who
gather in the Foundation’s building. The Urantia Foundation can
put you in touch (provide website address, address, phone number,
etc.) with study groups anywhere in the world.

These two questions have preoccupied humankind since the
beginning of time. And yet, until 1955, when the Urantia Book
was published, humanity had only vague religious and
philosophical answers. I am not saying that the Book has brought
instant knowledge; most people are not ready for these
revelations. It will be a long time before obscurity is lifted,
and the light of truth allowed to shine on this forlorn planet.

I will do my best in a subsequent part to answer the first
question.

The second question concerns the potential survival of the
human being beyond this life. Indeed, this whole article is
about our voyage across the universe once we are liberated from
the fetters of the flesh.

A human life is absurdly short. It is filled with
struggles, disappointments, and at time plain despair. I am not
saying that the world is a vale of tears, there are occasional
joys. Certainly, in the developed world, life has become easier
and more rewarding. But in many places in the world, life is
short, filled with uncertainties, and downright bitter. It is
therefore legitimate to ask the question: Is that all there is
to it? The answer is no. This is only the beginning.

The notion that there was a life beyond the present one goes
back to primitive humans. The Book explains it in the following
passages.

“The concept of a supermaterial phase of mortal personality
was born of the unconscious and purely accidental association of
the occurrences of everyday life plus the ghost dream. The
simultaneous dreaming about a departed chief by several members
of his tribe seemed to constitute convincing evidence that the
old chief had really returned in some form. It was all very real
to the savage who would awaken from such dreams reeking with
sweat, trembling, and screaming.” [P952].

“The primitive doctrine of survival after death was not
necessarily a belief in immortality. Beings who could not count
over twenty could hardly conceive of infinity and eternity; they
rather sought of recurring incarnations.”

“Early man entertained no ideas of hell or future
punishment. The savage looked upon the future life as just like
this one, minus all ill luck. Later on, a separate destiny for
good ghosts and bad ghosts – heaven and hell – was conceived.”
[P953].

“The Universal Father is the God of all creations, the First
Source and Center of all things and beings.”  [P21].

“The Eternal Son is the perfect and final expression of the
‘first’ personal and absolute concept of the Universal Father.
Accordingly, whenever and however the Father personally and
absolutely expresses himself, he does so through his Eternal Son,
who ever has been, now is, and ever will be, the living and
divine Word.”

The Revelator (a Divine Counsellor) goes on to say that “We
speak of God’s ‘first’ thought and allude to an impossible time
origin of the Eternal Son for the purpose of gaining access to
the thought channels of the human intellect.”  In reality,
“…  the Universal Father never could have had a first thought,
nor could the Eternal Son ever have had a beginning.”

“We [The Higher Personalities] believe the Son sprang from
the Father; we are taught that both are unqualifiedly eternal.
It is apparent, therefore, that no time creature can ever fully
comprehend this mystery of a Son who is derived from the Father,
and yet who is co-ordinately eternal with the Father himself.”
Because of this the Revelator was instructed to use “… such
time concepts of sequentiality.”  [P73].

“We are now face to face with the eternity origin of the
Infinite Spirit, the Third Person of Deity.  The very instant
that God the Father and God the Son conjointly conceive an
identical and infinite action – the execution of an absolute
thought plan – that very moment, the Infinite Spirit springs full
fledgedly into existence.”

Again, time concepts of sequentiality are used here.  The
Revelator puts it this way:  “And thus we portray the sequential
origin of the Third Source and Center as an interpretative
condescension to the time-bound and space conditioned mind of
mortal creatures.”

In reality, the three Persons of the Deity “… are without
beginning or ending of days; they are co-ordinate, supreme,
ultimate, absolute, and infinite.  They are and always have been
and ever shall be.  And they are three distinctly individualized
but eternally associated persons, God the Father, God the Son,
and God the Spirit.”  [P91 & 92].

[I know that the concepts outlined above are difficult to
comprehend.  But my narrative must start with the Deity.  There
are other more complex notions related to God in the Book.  I
humbly admit that my understanding of these concepts is rather
limited.  Therefore, I am not that much more ahead of you.
Regardless of how much you understand, you will still be able to
follow me as I take you through the voyage of eternity].

“Paradise is the eternal center of the universe of universes
and the abiding place of the Universal Father, the Eternal Son,
the Infinite Spirit and their divine co-ordinates and
associates.”

“Paradise is a material sphere as well as a spiritual
abode.” [P118].

Havona consists of one billion spheres of sublime
perfection. “At the center of Havona is the stationary and
absolutely stabilized Isle of Paradise, surrounded by its twenty-
one satellites.” [P129].

[More will be said on Paradise and Havona; but that will
come at the very end since they are part of the final destination
of the ascending pilgrims of time].

In the depth of eternity, the divine decision to create a
material universe was taken. Thus, the work to gradually
materialize the seven superuniverses began.

These seven superuniverses were not created in sequence (1
followed by 2 and so on until we reach 7). The Book describes it
as follows: “The first post-Havona creation was divided into
seven stupendous segments …” [P164].

Nevertheless, there is a difference in the degree of
organization (from a physical, administrative, spiritual and
other controls) of each one, some being more advanced than
others.

The Book tells us that we are a relatively recent creation:
“Urantia is situated in a local universe and a superuniverse not
fully organized, and your local universe is in immediate
proximity to numerous partially completed physical creations.
You belong to one of the relatively recent universes.” [P165].

How far back do we have to go to arrive at the time when the
decision to create the material world was taken? The Book is
silent regarding time; the expression near eternity is used. To
my finite mind, it is eternity. Consider the age of our local
universe.

“300,000,000,000 years ago the Andronover solar circuits
were well established, and the nebular system was passing through
a transient period of relative physical stability. About this
time the staff of Michael arrived on Salvington [the capital of
our local universe of Nebadon], and the Uversa government of
Orvonton [our superuniverse] extended physical recognition to the
local universe of Nebadon.” [P654].

This is an immense time period, and yet, our local universe
is very young! Our Creator Son, Michael of Nebadon is the
611,121st of his order. [P366]. Therefore, there were 611,120
Creator Sons with their own universes before him. How far does
that take us?

Don’t try to calculate it. The necessary information is not
given. It is dizzying to even think about it.

Divine Creation

The Paradise Deity is capable of creating Perfect Beings
fully equipped for the duties they are meant to perform in the
universe.  These Personalities are not automatons, they are
endowed with free will, and add to their knowledge through
experience.  They have the potential to go astray, but none of
them (at least the ones described in the book) ever betrayed his
trust or failed to properly complete an assignment.  They are
completely reliable.  The technique used to create them is not
revealed to us.  My understanding is that it will never be fully
explained.

In creating, there are seven “… associative possibilities
mathematically inherent in the factual existence of the three
persons of Deity.”

“1.  The Universal Father.
2.  The Eternal Son.
3.  The Infinite Spirit.
4.  The Father and the Son.
5.  The Father and the Spirit.
6.  The Son and the Spirit.
7.  The Father, Son, and Spirit.”

“And this explains why the universe is operated in seven
grand divisions, and why the number seven is basically
fundamental in its organization and administration.”  [P184].

Universes Creation

When a Creator Son has taken possession of the space site of
his chosen universe; when the initial physical problems have been
resolved; “… when he has formed an effective and co-operative
working union with the complemental Daughter of the Infinite
Spirit – then do this Universe Son and this Universe Spirit
initiate that liaison which is designed to give origin to the
innumerable hosts of their local universe children.”  [P236].

In this creative endeavor, they can function jointly,
separately, or with a third Personality.  Examples follow.

Melchizedeks are the offsprings of the Creator Son,
Creative Spirit and Father Melchizedek.

Both Vorondadeks and Lanonandeks Sons are brought into
beings by the Creator Son and the Creative Spirit.

“The threefold order of Life Carriers is brought into being
by a Creator Son and Creative Spirit associated with one of the
three Ancient of Days of the superuniverse of jurisdiction.”
[P223 & 224].

Seraphim are created by the Creative Spirit.  [P418].

The Material Sons and Daughters (the Adams and the Eves) are
created by the Creator Son and are His material gift to the
inhabited worlds.  [P580].

All of these beings are also equipped to carry out specific
duties; they have free will and can increase their knowledge
through experience.

One important difference with the Paradise creation is that
they can rebel, betray their trust, and create havoc.  It doesn’t
happen at the higher levels such as the Melchizedek Sons (at
least not on our universe), but it does happen at the lower
levels such as the System Rulers, the Planetary Princes, and the
Angels.

Nebadon “… has been unfortunate in that over seven hundred
Sons of the Lanonandek order have rebelled against the universe
government, thus precipitating confusion in several systems and
on numerous planets.  Of these entire number of failures only
three were System Sovereigns…”

“The large number of these Sons who have lapsed from
integrity does not indicate any fault in creatorship.  They could
have been made divinely perfect, but they were so created that
they might better understand, and draw near to, the evolutionary
creatures dwelling on the worlds of time and space.”  [P393].

“There exists a plan for saving these wayward and unwise
Sons, and many have availed themselves of this merciful
provision; but never again may they function in those positions
wherein they defaulted.  After rehabilitation they are assigned
to custodial duties and to departments of physical
administration.”  [P394].

During the Lucifer Rebellion, the greatest loss occurred in
the angelic ranks.  As well, 681,217 Material Sons were lost in
Satania.  [P608].

A second chance was given to these rebellious beings.
Thousands of Angels and Material Sons and Daughters accepted the
proffered mercy.  They are held on the Father’s world of Jerusem
until the lawsuit of Gabriel vs Lucifer is settled.  “But no one
doubts that, when the annihilation verdict is issued, these
repentant and salvaged personalities will be exempted from the
decree of extinction.”  [P610].

Don’t misunderstand me when I talk of higher and lower
levels of beings.  Yes, there is a hierarchy in the heavens.
There is a reporting system.  There are meetings, conclaves, and
tours of inspection.  There are also Deliberative Assemblies.  As
I am writing this, there are Personalities stationed,
(permanently or temporarily) for a specific purpose, on Urantia.
The Revelators who authored the papers of the Book were
directed to do so.  And they came on our planet, one by one,
accompanied by staff, to dictate their share of the revelations.
Even though they were enjoined by their superiors to complete
this assignment, they (judging by their writing) immensely
enjoyed the task of educating the lowly mortals of this planet.

Put in a different way, Celestial Beings do not have a caste
system; they derive great satisfaction from undertaking
assignments given to them by what we view as their superiors.
Then again their level of maturity is something we cannot even
begin to comprehend at this stage of our existence.

You might say (when reading of Deliberative Assemblies,
meetings, etc.) that their governments work like ours.  Yes, but
at a much higher level.  Also their system of administration
existed long before our planet came into being!  Remember, this
is a case of the humans imitating the Gods and not the other way
around!

So how does their hierarchy differ from ours?

There is no hurting other beings for furthering one’s
career.  There is no backstabbing, gossiping, whispering in the
ear of the boss about the failings of so and so.  There is no
corruption in government and dirty ploys to win the next
election.  There is no lying, cheating, and manipulating other
beings.  There is no betrayal of trust (with the exceptions
mentioned above).  There is dependency and competency.  There is
no need to follow up; if you hand out an assignment, it will
assuredly be satisfactorily completed.  There is no…, well, you
get the idea.  But don’t despair, one day you will be like them!

Sexual Reproduction on the Worlds of Time and Space

There is no doubt that huge resources are invested in
raising our children.  From babyhood to adulthood, families, and
society as a whole, mobilize tremendous energy, time, and money.
Once they (our children) reach adulthood, they repeat the process
all over again.

Behind the scene, work that took millions of years went on
to develop and establish life, nurture it, and await the arrival
of the first will creatures on any given planet.

It would be insane therefore to assume that all of this is
done without a logical reason.  All of which brings us to the
next question:  Why are we here?

God can do everything Himself if He chooses.  In actual
fact, He has delegated most of His authority to His created
intelligences.  He has reserved for Himself only that which
cannot be done by other beings.  This passage from the book puts
it so touchingly.

“With divine selflessness, consummate generosity, the
Universal Father relinquishes authority and delegates power, but
he is still primal; his hand is on the mighty lever of the
circumstances of the universal realms; he has reserved all final
decisions and unerringly wields the all-powerful veto scepter of
his eternal purpose with unchallengeable authority over the
welfare and destiny of the outstretched, whirling, and ever-
circling creation.”  [P52].

Asking “Why are we here?” is in effect inquiring as to God’s
intentions concerning us.  There are so many clues in the Book;
so many things are expected from us; and yet, there is nothing
definitive that I can personally perceive.  I cannot provide you
(or my own self for that matter) with a short and simple answer.
I suspect that God’s plans are evolutionary in nature; they will
evolve as the universe unfolds.

Perhaps it is easier to ask what our duties are now, and
what they will be in the future (i.e. after physical death).  Put
in a different way, how do we do the “Father’s will,” and strive
toward the ultimate goal:  “Be you perfect as I am perfect.”

On our planet, during our human life, we have important work
to do.

First, we cooperate with each other to have a well
functioning society.  Whether you’re a nurse in a hospital caring
for the sick, or a master builder building homes for families to
live in, we each have a contribution to make.  Our work is not
our only concern.  We have a house to run, children to raise,
finances to manage, and so on.  In effect, except for children
and old people, most of us give more than we receive.  The
difference is what allows a society to progress.  The higher the
output is over the input, the more advanced a given society is.

The above is our role in human affairs.  But our
responsibilities doesn’t end there.  As the intelligent beings,
we are entrusted with a whole planet!  We should nurture it, and
leave it in a better shape than we found it to future
generations.  We should treat the animals on our planet humanely.
We should keep a watchful eye on species that are in danger of
going extinct.  Above all we should cause no damage, or as the
expression goes, tread lightly upon the earth.

Primitive humans (on any given planet) are not advanced
enough to discharge such a responsibility.  But no matter, there
aren’t enough of them, nor are they technologically advanced to
cause much damage.  On most planets, time and progress bring an
awareness of this difficult role.  Their planetary
responsibilities are taken seriously.  On Urantia the opposite
has happened!  The more we advanced, the more we abused our
planet!  Is it any wonder then that we are still considered a
backward planet?

First, we start at the lowest level possible and add layer
upon layer of knowledge and experience.  By the time we reach the
heights, we are a superb and incredibly versatile creature.

A newborn baby comes equipped with a few basic instincts and
nothing else.  She has a sucking instinct to nourish herself.
She howls if she is hungry, wet, or in pain.  Everything else,
she will have to learn.  And she will progress quickly.  She can
early on sort out sounds and smells that are relevant to her. She
can differentiate between a smile and a frown.  She can learn to
manipulate by adjusting her crying.  At 3 months, she can
recognize faces and will raise Cain if a stranger picks her up.

At 2 she will become a very demanding little person.  By 3
she will have learned that pushing everybody around is not really
possible and will lower her expectations.  At 4 she already has a
good mastery of her native tongue.  Then comes school,
university, work, and family responsibilities.

Let us assume that this person dies at 95.  She will take to
the Mansion Worlds her valuable human experience.  It is unique
in many ways.  Examples:  Her own unique personality.  Her
cultural background.  The planet she comes from.

During your life in the flesh, you labor under a major
constraint.  A human life can never be extended to serve a
particular purpose or complete a task that was started.  For
example, a woman can die before she had a chance to finish
raising her children.  A scientist can die before finishing
groundbreaking research.

The above add to the uniqueness of a human being; higher
beings are not subjected to the discipline of physical death and
its consequences.

A human life is shaped by too many events to ever be
duplicated.  In the whole universe, no two human lives are
exactly alike.  You bring with you what no other individual can.

You therefore arrive at your first destination as a unique
being.  Three things will be expected from you:  Learn, teach and
serve.  You are expected to learn many things.  All help will be
provided to further your education.  No stigma will ever be
attached to you if you arrive as a totally illiterate person on
the first Mansion World.  The difference between you and a
Harvard graduate is that he will advance more quickly.

What you have learned, you will be asked to teach to
individuals coming after you.  Surely, you will also be expected
to talk about your planet and your own culture.

There is a tremendous amount of work to perform and your
help is needed.  On Satania alone there are 619 planets.  Can you
imagine what it takes to administrate such a system?  The
services you provide will do two things for you:  First, apply in
practice what you’ve learned.  Second, be engaged in highly
interesting work.  If you’re lucky enough to be passionate about
your present job, then imagine work that’s many times more
interesting.  You’re dealing with the affairs of many planets,
not what goes on in one corporation, or a given government
department.  Even if you’re the President of the U.S., how can
you compare managing 50 states with managing 619 planets!

When you graduate from Satania, you’ll go on to the
constellation of Norlatiadek; there will be more of the same but
at a higher level.  Same thing on the worlds around Salvington.
Then will come the Minor Sector, the Major Sectors, the worlds
around Uversa, the billion perfect spheres of Havona, and finally
Paradise.  (I will talk in details about all that in subsequent
sections).

Can you see what’s happening here?  You’re being built,
stone upon stone, from the bottom up.  The end result is
something we cannot even begin to comprehend.  I am awed by the
brilliance of such a scheme.  Our own efforts will always play a
major role here.  This is how one of the Revelators [A Mighty
Messenger] puts it:

“The perfection of the creatures of time, when finally
achieved, is wholly an acquirement, a bona fide personality
possession.  While the elements of grace are freely admixed,
nevertheless, the creature attainments are the result of
individual efforts and actual living, personality reaction to the
existing environment.”  [P361].

The same revelator adds an extra dimension when he says:

“In all this is shown the wisdom of the Creators.  It would
be just as easy for the Universal Father to make all mortals
perfect beings, to impart perfection by his divine word.  But
that would deprive them of the wonderful experience of the
adventure and training associated with the long and gradual
inward climb, an experience to be had only by those who are so
fortunate as to begin at the very bottom of living
existence.”  [P361 & 362]

On the system of Satania we presently have 619 planets, “…
and more than two hundred additional planets are evolving
favorably toward becoming inhabited planets at some future time.”
[P182].

On our planet we have 6 billion inhabitants.  In a century
from now, most of the people on the planet will have passed on
and be replaced by new generations.

In varying degrees, the same apply to other planets on the
system.

The story doesn’t end there.  There is an estimated 7
billion systems in the universe!

Don’t try to calculate it by making assumptions:  average
number of planets in a system, average number of inhabitants on a
planet, and so on.  I am providing you with tentative figures to
give you an idea of the immensity and majesty of God’s creation.
As well, I want to emphasize the fact that you’re one of God’s
children, and that you are needed to further his creative
endeavors.

Once you’ve found God, attained Paradise, you’re mustered
into the Corps of the Finality.  Paradise is not your final
destination.  Indeed there is no such thing as a “final
destination.”  The Book puts it as follows:

“Notwithstanding that these ascendant mortals have attained
Paradise, have been mustered into the Corps of the Finality, and
have been sent back in large numbers to participate in the
conduct of local universes and to assist in the administration of
superuniverse affairs – in the face of even this apparent
destiny, there remain the significant fact that they are of
record as only sixth-stage spirits.  There undoubtedly remains
one more step in the career of the Mortal Corps of the Finality.
We do not know the nature of that step …”  [P347 & 348].  (More
will be said on the Corps of the Finality in a subsequent
section).

The Revelators knowledge do not go beyond Paradise destiny.
However, they speculate about future and outer universes (in
addition to the present seven superuniverses).  Their
speculations are based on the observation of “… a vast and new
system of universes gradually organizing in the domains of outer
space.”  They go on to say about these universes that they “…
are able to identify the clustering of at least seventy thousand
aggregations of matter, each of which is greater than any one of
the present superuniverses.”  [P354].

Considering the thorough training we receive, the Celestial
Beings have little doubt in their minds as to a role for us in
these future universes.  They ask themselves the question:  “Why
should the Gods be so concerned in so thoroughly training
surviving mortals in the technique of universe management?”
[P348].

I close with these two beautiful passages from the Book:

the Universe Son, which so freely has been poured out upon all

Nebulae

Our planet is an evolutionary world. It (and an
extraordinary number of suns, planets and moons) starts its life
as a nebula. Some planets can eventually support life, but they
remain unstable for a long time (volcanic eruptions, earthquakes,
etc.).

Nebulae are initiated by the Paradise Force Organizers.
“… they are able to initiate about their space presence the
tremendous cyclones of force which, when once started, can never
be stopped or limited until the all-pervading forces are
mobilized for the eventual appearance of the ultimatonic units of
universe matter. Thus are brought into being the spiral and
other nebulae, the mother wheels of the direct-origin suns and
their varied systems. In outer space there may be seen ten
different forms of nebulae, phases of primary universe evolution,
and these vast energy wheels had the same origin as did those in
the seven superuniverses.” [P169].

“The Milky Way galaxy is composed of vast numbers of former
spirals and other nebulae, and many still retain their original
configuration. But as the result of internal catastrophes and
external attraction, many have suffered such distortion and
rearrangement as to cause these enormous aggregations to appear
as gigantic luminous masses of blazing suns, like the Magellanic
Cloud.” [P170].

The Suns

“These are the stars of space in all their various stages of
existence.” They “… exist in no less than a thousand different
states and stages. You are familiar with suns that emit light
accompanied by heat; but there are also suns which shine without
heat.”

“The trillions upon trillions of years that an ordinary sun
will continue to give out heat and light well illustrates the
vast store of energy which each unit of matter contains.”
[P172].

The Planets

“These are the larger aggregations of matter which follow an
orbit around a sun or some other space body; they range in size
from planetesimals to enormous gaseous, liquid, or solid spheres.
The cold worlds which have been built up by the assemblage of
floating space material, when they happen to be in proper
relation to a near-by sun, are the more ideal planets to harbor
intelligent inhabitants.”

“In your superuniverse not one cool planet in forty is
habitable by beings of your order. … In your solar system
only three planets are at present suited to harbor life.”

“… An almost endless variety of creature life and other
living manifestations characterizes the countless worlds of
space. There are, however, certain points of similarities in a
group of worlds associated in a given system, while there is a
universe pattern of intelligent life.” [P173].

The Andronover Nebula

This nebula is the ancestor of our local universe.
875 billion years ago the enormous Andronover nebula was duly
initiated. It went through many stages, and an immense period of
time elapsed before the local universe of Nebadon came into
being. [P652].

“300,000,000,000 years ago the Andronover solar circuits
were well established, and the nebular system was passing through
a transient period of relative physical stability. About this
time the staff of Michael arrived on Salvington, and the Uversa
government of Orvonton extended physical recognition to the local
universe of Nebadon.”

Another 100 billion years would elapse before the appearance
of planets suitable for life implantation. [P654].

The Master Force Organizers

These force organizers reside on paradise, “… but they
function throughout the master universe, more particularly in the
domains of unorganized space. These extraordinary beings are
neither creators nor creatures …”

They “… are the manipulators of the primordial or basic
space-forces of the Unqualified Absolute …”

They can “… withstand temperatures and function under
physical conditions which would be intolerable even to the
versatile power centers and physical controller of Orvonton.”
