Time – Introduction

Time is the most frustrating variable in human affairs. Many families consider time as a slippery element; there is never enough to do all the things that need to be done. But as I will argue later on, this is not the case for everybody, and indeed everywhere in the world.

Time is perceived differently depending upon what you’re doing, where you live, and at what stage of life you’re at. Animals are not aware of time, but if they live among humans, it has an impact on them.

The clock begins ticking when we’re born and stops when we die. A human life is short and intense. No sooner have we begun, that it’s time to head for the exit. However, because we pack so many things in one lifetime, it seems much longer than it really is.

There are so many things one can say about time (excluding its scientific aspects) all I can do is express some of my thoughts. But let’s not stop the clock at the end of my article. Feel free to discuss some of your thoughts.

Time – I. Time, Personality, and Circumstances

No two people experience the passage of time in exactly the same way. The busy executive, and the harried woman who holds a full-time job and runs a household will experience time very differently from a retired person. On the other hand, the image of the retired person sitting on a rocking chair and knitting for her grandchildren exists mainly in pictures kept in dusty albums. Many retired people today keep busy. Unfortunately, for some, the minutes and the hours crawl. They are lonely (even if they do not live alone) and miserable. They have nothing to live for. Time can be an asset or a liability. We make the choice and live with it.

How we perceive and handle time will be influenced by our personality. Some people are great managers of their time, others run in hot pursuit after the hours of the day, and never quite accomplish what they set out to do.

Time – II. Animals and Time

Animals are governed by time just like we are. But they cannot conceive of it the way humans do.

In the wild, animals will carry their daily activities when the sun rises and go to sleep at sunset; or vice-versa if they are nocturnal. They will mate, have their offsprings and care for them, in the right season.

Time – III. When Time Stops

Nature has decreed that all living things must sleep during a part of the day. Sleep has been carefully studied by scientists. However, there is still a lot that we don’t know about it. From what we’ve learned, important physiological processes take place during the unconscious phase of our sleep, what we call deep sleep. The role of dreams is less clear. It seems that the brain gets a chance to reorganize itself, and sort out the day’s events. It is this process of “moving around the furniture” that produces our disjointed dreams. However, some dreams are well organized; some ideas that come to us during our dreams can be very useful. A solution to a difficult problem can be found after a night’s sleep.

Time – IV. When Does Time Starts?

Technically, time starts when we are born. But this is a case where it is futile to start the clock at zero. A child retains few early memories. The birthday parties means friends, fun, pizza, and cake. He cannot conceive that its birth is celebrated. His mind cannot encompass such a concept. That being the case, when does time starts?

I was seven years old. It was the first day of school. The teacher introduced herself and then went to the blackboard and wrote the date. The year is what attracted my attention, really mesmerized me. Something clicked in my mind, this was the year we were at; in a way, the first tangible year in my life. Previous years simply did not exist; there are a few events that I remember, but I cannot tie them to years. That incident stayed in my mind and, years later, I recounted it to my son. Lo and behold! Seven was also the age when he became aware of the passing time. What about you, did your life also start at seven?

Time – V. Time and Age

Throughout our lives we play a game with time. I am at a loss to find an appropriate name for this game. Is it hide-and-seek? If we pretend we don’t notice time, then perhaps it won’t see us either?

From 7 until 20 we are in a hurry to grow up, to become adults, to test our wonderful theories, to change the world. So far so good, for indeed every new generation brings new ideas that create progress.

At 20 something changes. This young woman is all of a sudden aware that she is entering the third decade of her life. Growing up is not what it’s cracked up to be. She becomes aware that the world is challenging her ideas. This started in her teens, but she ignored it and forged ahead anyway. Now, she is more mature and is paying attention. There are other problems as well. The unlined face of her teen years is beginning to show the lines of time. Oh, not to worry, very, very few lines.

Time – VI. When Time Stops for Good

1884 – 1946. The lifespan of my paternal grandfather, Isaac. I was only 10 when he died. For a long time I could not believe that nono Zaki (nono is grandfather in Italian, and Zaki is the Arabic equivalent for Isaac) would no longer love me and spoil me like he did for so many years. Eventually I had to face reality, my grandfather was gone for good.

1903 – 2005. The lifespan of my wife’s aunt, Paula. Before I went to visit her for the first time, my future wife warned me that aunt Paula was a force of nature and was always dispensing advice which was presented as the definitive word on the subject! Little did I know when I first met her in 1966 that she would be with us for some 40 more years. For a long time we waited for aunt Paula to mellow, be more accepting. We waited in vain. Very reluctantly, at 101, she consented to go into a nursing home. And you know what, we loved the fact that she never took a backseat to anybody. When my son called me in March 2005 to tell me that aunt Paula has passed away in her sleep, I was shocked. All the members of my family were equally saddened. How long did we expected her to live?

Time – VII. Does Time Really Stops for Good?

I have 3 main articles of faith.

As far as I can remember, I have always believed in God. For me, it was never a matter of “maybe,” “but,” “what if,” or “prove to me.” My belief in a Creator has always been as natural as breathing.

The main problem humans have in their relationship with God is that they try to figure out His nature. How could there be a Being that always existed, and will continue to exist for all eternity? Why did He decide to create the universe and all that’s in it? What was there before? Why does He functions through 3 different personalities rather than one? (This belief is shared by all, or most, Christian denominations; the mystical part of the Jewish religion, i.e. the Kaballah; and perhaps other religions.) These are all futile questions. The human mind cannot encompass the vastness of the universe; how then can it understand the Creator of this same universe?

I. The Third Article of Faith – An Introduction

In a previous article, I mentioned that I have 3 main articles of faith.   I did not at the time feel ready to discuss the third one, not so much because I didn’t know what to say, but rather because it’s such a vast subject.   I feel I can now deliver a concise and logical product.

First, believing in the existence of a universal Creator who has created the universe and all that’s in it.

Second, believing in the survival of the human personality beyond physical death.  Indeed an amazing destiny awaits most of us.

What is the third article of faith?

The Third Article of Faith – II. The Vastness of the Universe

How many stars are in the universe?  We can only estimate the numbers and these estimates are very conservative.

First the galaxies.  There are 100 billion galaxies that are visible to us.

How many stars in each galaxy?  There are 100 billion stars in our galaxy, The Milky Way.  The Milky Way is a huge galaxy; but there are larger galaxies, as well as smaller ones.  Therefore, we can accept the average number of stars per galaxy as 100 billion.

The Third Article of Faith – III. Empires

Since the beginning of recorded history, many empires have risen and fallen.  The intention of the conquerors has always been to conquer all of the known world.  World domination as we now call it.  No empire, however, managed to do that, not even the mighty Roman Empire.

Alexander the Great illustrates the futility of such an endeavor.  He swiftly conquered most of the known world.  But he died young and his empire was divided among his generals.

Now that all of these empires are consigned to the history books, we, as modern humans, can put our past under the microscope and perchance draw some useful lessons.

The Third Article of Faith – IV. Nations

There are 193 countries in the world today.  They range from giants (both in term of population and size) like China, the U.S., and Russia to tiny countries like Liechtenstein with a population of 33,987 and a total area of 161 Sq. Km.

There are 6800 known languages spoken in the world, 2261 have writing systems (the others are only spoken).  India alone has 18 officially spoken recognized languages (Hindi and English are the official languages of the union).

The Third Article of Faith – V. Religions

There are 22 religions in the world today with Christianity claiming the largest number of adherents (2.1 billion) followed by Islam (1.3 billion).  Other religions with a large number of followers are Hinduism (900 million) and Buddhism (376 million).  Included in the above 22 is a group referred to as Secular/ Nonreligious/ Agnostic/ Atheist (1.1 billion).

The last category is diverse and represent religious views (or lack thereof) rather than a religion.  Atheists represent only one-half of one percent of the population in many countries where much larger numbers claims no religious preferences; therefore, this category is not synonymous with atheism.

The Third Article of Faith – VI. The End of the World

This event has over the centuries been called by many names.  The end of the world.  The end of time.  The end times.  The day of judgment.  The last judgment.  The day of reckoning.  Doomsday.  And no doubt many other names depending upon time and place.

On this day, the world as we know it will come to an end.  The dead will be awakened from their slumber to be judged by God.  Good actions will be weighted against sins.  If the bad outweigh the good you’re consigned to the fires of hell.  The reverse will send you to paradise.  There is an element of mercy in that all efforts will be made by our Creator to spare a sinner from eternal damnation.  There is also plenty of disagreement; for example, some Talmudists believe that hell is not forever.  There is general agreement that on Sabbath the fires are extinguished.  Other religions have their own beliefs and their own disagreements.

Such beliefs tax the modern mind.  We have mapped the human genome, and thanks to the internet we have instant communication and knowledge at our fingertips.  Many intelligent and educated men and women believe in God, but find themselves at odd with their religious doctrines.  Their faith is precious, but concepts like the end of the world are not believable to them.  People ask themselves a lot of questions.  Some examples:  Why would God want to destroy a world He has created?  A lot of love and efforts has been poured on this planet.  How do you reconcile that with its total annihilation?  Are we talking of our planet only or the whole universe?  How can a merciful God throws people in the fire, and for all eternity at that?  How can a body that has been in the grave for centuries if not millennia be reconstituted?  Of course God can do anything.  The only problem is that He does not break His own natural laws, nor does He engage in magic tricks.  It is blasphemy to even think like that.

The Third Article of Faith – VII. Our Planet

Our planet is a decimal planet.  It’s a sphere where the Life Carriers are allowed to conduct experiments.  The result of their work is the beautiful world we now live in, a world which has exploded with life of incredible varieties.

The Third Article of Faith – VIII. The Future of Our Planet

I talked previously of a time when a planet is settled in Light and Life.  Needless to say this time is far, far away for us.  Light and Life means among other things a time when a planet adopt one language, one religion, and one philosophy.  To even think how far away we are from that is downright depressing.  I previously mentioned the multiplicity of nations, languages and religions we have.  So what can we do about that?

The Third Article of Faith – IX. The Lucifer Rebellion

Lucifer is not the “Devil” nor is he a fallen Angel.  Lucifer was a brilliant Lanonandek Son of Nebadon.  He has had experience in many systems and was distinguished for wisdom, sagacity, and efficiency.  When he was commissioned by the Melchizedeks, “…he was designated as one of the one hundred most able and brilliant personalities in more than seven hundred thousand of his kind.”  And yet he rebelled (the Lucifer rebellion was the third one on Nebadon) and sowed havoc in this part of the universe; and in the process caused pain to so many personalities including the inhabitants of our planet.

The Third Article of Faith – X. The Caligastia Betrayal

Planetary Princes belong to the order of the Secondary Lanonandeks Sons.  They are specialized Personalities that are trained to eventually rule the evolving inhabited worlds.

Caligastia very early sought a commission as Planetary Prince, but again and again his request was denied.  “Caligastia seemed especially desirous of being sent as planetary ruler to a decimal or life-modification world.  His petition had several times been disapproved before he was finally assigned to Urantia.”

The Third Article of Faith – XI. The Default of Adam and Eve

At the right time, every planet receives a Material Son and Daughter – usually known on a planet as Adam and Eve.  “Together with the Planetary Prince, they remain on their planet of assignment throughout the evolutionary course of such a sphere.”  They act as biologic uplifters; being material they can reproduce and their children after they attain a certain number (over one million) can mate with the inhabitants of this world.  Thus a planet is given a chance to benefit from their superior genetic traits.  I stress again that they cannot lay with the sons and daughters of their world before a given number is attained.  And this is were things went wrong on Urantia.  But let me start at the beginning.

“On the inhabited worlds the Material Sons and Daughters construct their own garden homes, soon being assisted by their own children.”  This garden is called the Garden of Eden.

The Third Article of Faith – XII. About the Urantia Book

A Dream Come True

In 1982 the Urantia Book came into my life.  I read a paper or two every weekend and by 1985 I finished it.

A friend told my wife about the Book and she in turn told me.  The very same week we went to a bookstore specializing in such books and ordered a copy.

In June 1982 I started reading it.  The Introduction (except for the first page) was almost incomprehensible.  But I was not discouraged.  The next five papers are on the Universal Father.  The next two are on the Eternal Son, and the final two are on the Infinite Spirit.  They are all authored by a Divine Counselor (a Superuniverse Personality who receives His assignments directly from the Deity).  Needless to say I was hooked long before I finished reading this first series of papers.  A sense of wonder installed itself in my mind and never again left me.  I wanted to shout the news to everybody, but quickly realized that other people were far behind and eventually gave up.  It may have been frustrating, however, in time, I realized that this was the price I had to pay for being in possession of advanced truth on a planet not ready for it.  Other Urantians no doubt travelled down the same road.

The Sublime Adventure – I. General Comments

1.    When I managed to complete my article on “The Third Article of Faith,” I was encouraged to write more Urantia Book’s
articles.

It occurred to me that I can perhaps take the reader through
the adventure of eternity; from the time you “wake up” (after
physical death) on the first mansion world until you attain
Paradise, is embraced by God, and is mustered in the Corps of the
Finality. It’s a very long voyage through the universe; the time
involved is beyond human understanding. But what a grand
adventure this is; it is filled with delights, learning, and
challenges that cannot be described in human terms.

To condense all that in an article proved a daunting task.
But it was also a labor of love.

It is a long article; so be patient.

The Sublime Adventure – II. The Eternal Quest

Why am I here and where do I go from here?

These two questions have preoccupied humankind since the
beginning of time. And yet, until 1955, when the Urantia Book
was published, humanity had only vague religious and
philosophical answers. I am not saying that the Book has brought
instant knowledge; most people are not ready for these
revelations. It will be a long time before obscurity is lifted,
and the light of truth allowed to shine on this forlorn planet.

The Sublime Adventure – V. Creation (1 of 2)

There are three different ways used in the universe to
create.

Divine Creation

The Paradise Deity is capable of creating Perfect Beings
fully equipped for the duties they are meant to perform in the
universe.  These Personalities are not automatons, they are
endowed with free will, and add to their knowledge through
experience.  They have the potential to go astray, but none of
them (at least the ones described in the book) ever betrayed his
trust or failed to properly complete an assignment.  They are
completely reliable.  The technique used to create them is not
revealed to us.  My understanding is that it will never be fully
explained.

The Sublime Adventure – VI. Creation (2 of 2)

At the lower levels (e.g. the Seraphims) they can, and do,
undertake (like us) the ascending career.  They are capable of
reaching Paradise and becoming Finaliters.

One important difference with the Paradise creation is that
they can rebel, betray their trust, and create havoc.  It doesn’t
happen at the higher levels such as the Melchizedek Sons (at
least not on our universe), but it does happen at the lower
levels such as the System Rulers, the Planetary Princes, and the
Angels.

The Sublime Adventure – VII. Why Are We Here? (1 of 3)

The most direct answer to this question is the desire of the
Father to share His love with an entire universe.  Once the
universe was created and Higher Beings brought forth to rule this
vast domain, He created humans, on countless planets, in His own
image (by providing them with a fragment of Himself, the Thought
Adjuster).

God can do everything Himself if He chooses.  In actual
fact, He has delegated most of His authority to His created
intelligences.  He has reserved for Himself only that which
cannot be done by other beings.  This passage from the book puts
it so touchingly.

reasons.

heights, we are a superb and incredibly versatile creature.

and more than two hundred additional planets are evolving
favorably toward becoming inhabited planets at some future time.”

etc.).

The Sublime Adventure – XII. Organization of the Superuniverses

follows:

1.  The System.  This is the basic unit of the local and

has the potential to included 1,000 inhabited worlds.  Any sphere
that cannot support life (such as a planet  too far or too near to its sun) is not included in this group.  On a young system only a comparatively small number of worlds may be inhabited.

The Gardens of God

On the constellation headquarters worlds living
embellishments are more generally utilized. Thus, if you’re a
lover of botanic artistry, you will love your sojourn on Edentia.

About half of Edentia is dedicated to the superb gardens of
the Most Highs. Since the capital of our constellation is about
100 times the size of Urantia, we have in effect 50 Earths filled
with exquisite gardens! Is it any wonder then that our prophets
have referred to Edentia as the “Garden of Eden?”

The Univitatia

Univitatia are the permanent citizens of Edentia and its
associated spheres. The 770 worlds surrounding the capital are
under their supervision. They are the offsprings of the Creator
Son and the Creative Spirit. They fall on a plane of existence
in between the material and the spiritual, but they are not
morontia creatures.

The Edentia Training Worlds

The concept of team work is well understood on our planet.
A family works together as a team – or falls apart. Many sports
consist of teams competing against each others. On a soccer
team, each player has a well defined role; how well each player
fulfill his role can bring victory or defeat. At work people
work together as a team; possessing, or lacking, a team spirit
can further or hamper one’s career. Really, nothing worthwhile
happens unless a group of people get together and function in a
more or less harmonious way.

The Sublime Adventure – XXXVIII. Our Capital (1 of 5)

No details on Salvington are given in the Book. Nor is our
career (if any) on the capital spelled out. All I can tell you is that
Salvington is the residence of the Creator Son and the Divine
Minister. The Divine Minister never leaves Salvington; the
Creator Son on the other hand travels for meetings, conclaves,
tours of inspection, and any other matters that require His
presence. Michael, when required, go to constellations, systems,
and I believe worlds of time and space. Outside of His universe,
He journeys to the superuniverse and even to Paradise.

World 1: The Melchizedeks Sons

The primary world of the Melchizedeks is considered the
pilot world of the Salvington circuit; and it is also considered
the home world of the Melchizedeks Sons. Overall, the 490
spheres are often referred to as the Melchizedek University. All
ascending pilgrims coming from the different constellations are
trained on many of the 490 worlds in the acquirement of

of seventy specialized worlds containing thousands upon thousands

The Sublime Adventure – XLVI. Havona (1 of 10)

Havona, the central universe, is not a time creation. It is
eternal, it has no beginning and no end. At the center of Havona
is the stationary and absolutely stabilized Isle of Paradise
surrounded by its twenty-one satellites.

“Owing to the enormous encircling masses of the dark gravity
bodies about the fringe of the central universe, the mass content
of this central location is far in excess of the total known mass
of all seven sectors of the grand universe.”

The central planetary family surrounding the Isle of
Paradise is called Havona; it is very distant from our local
universe of Nebadon. “It is of enormous dimensions and almost
unbelievable mass and consists of one billion spheres of
unimagined beauty and superb grandeur, but the true magnitude of
this vast creation is really beyond the understanding grasp of
the human mind.”

Life in Havona

The Revelator (a Perfector of Wisdom) had to fill an immense
gap to describe to the mortals of this planet what life in Havona
is like. Of necessity, his description is general in nature.
For this humble mortal, paraphrasing Him proved impossible. I am
therefore resorting to largely quoting some of his passages.

When you arrive on Havona, there is a definite task to be
achieved on each of the billion spheres.

The Havona natives are directly created by the Paradise
Trinity, and their number is beyond the concept of our
circumscribed minds. However, no more are being created. The
inherent qualities of such divinely perfect beings is beyond the
understanding of Urantians. Only when we arrive on Havona and
greet them as spirit comrades can we truly appreciate these
glorious creatures.

The Graduate Guides

The Graduate Guides are exclusively devoted to the tasks of
guiding the mortal graduates from the superuniverses of time
through the Havona course of instruction and training which
serves to prepare the ascenders for admission to Paradise and the
Corps of the Finality.

The Revelator is authorized to talk about the nature of
their work; however it is so ultraspiritual, he despairs of being
able to convey to us the manifold activities of these beings.
Once our spiritual comprehension widens (beginning on the mansion
worlds) we will be able to comprehend the role of these guides.

as “candidates for the Deity adventure” since it is on this
circle, under the direction of the Trinity guides, that the
ascenders receive advanced instruction concerning the divine
Trinity in preparation for the attempt to achieve the personality
recognition of the Infinite Spirit.

“Most faithful and efficient are the Trinity guides; and
each pilgrim receives the undivided attention, and enjoys the
whole affection, of a secondary supernaphim belonging to this
order. Never would a pilgrim of time find the first approachable
person of the Paradise Trinity were it not for the help and
assistance of these guides and the hosts of other spiritual
beings engaged in instructing the ascenders respecting the nature

The Son Finders

The fourth Havona circuit is sometimes called the “circuits
of the Sons.” From the worlds of this circuit, the pilgrims of
space go to Paradise to achieve an understanding contact with the
Eternal Son.

It is on these worlds that ascending souls will meet with
the descending pilgrims, the Michael Sons; both the pilgrims of
time and the pilgrims of eternity arrive at their first truly
mutual understanding of one another. “In many respects the
experiences of this circuit are the most intriguing of the entire
Havona sojourn.”

What follows is perhaps the most important part in the
entire Urantia Book. I therefore take a back seat and let the
Perfector of Wisdom who presented this paper do the talking.

The superaphic counselors and advisers of the second circle
are the instructors of the ascendant souls regarding the career

higher order, and the sojourn on the second circuit affords ample
opportunity to receive the helpful counsel of these supernaphim.

Those who are unsuccessful in the first try of attaining the
Deity are advanced from the circle of failure to the second
circle before they are returned to superuniverse service. For

And as we have been informed, no candidate ever failed on the
second attempt.

Upper Paradise is divided into three grand spheres of
activity: The Deity Presence, the Most Holy Sphere, and the Holy

The Most Holy Sphere surrounds the presence of the
Deities, it is reserved for the functions of worship,
trinitization, and high spiritual attainment. “There are no
material structures nor purely intellectual creations in this
zone; they could not exist there. It is useless for me to
undertake to portray to the human mind the divine nature and the
beauteous grandeur of the Most Holy Sphere of Paradise. This
realm is wholly spiritual, and you are almost wholly material. A

apparently non-existent.”

portion of nether Paradise, is the unknown and unrevealed Zone of
Infinity. This zone is immediately surrounded by an unnamed
area. Finally, occupying the outer margins of the under surface
is a region having mainly to do with space potency and force
energy. [P122].

The Paradise Companions

The Paradise Companions are a mixed group recruited from the
ranks of the seraphim, seconaphim, supernaphim, and omniaphim.
They are summoned to Paradise to act as companions. They are not
of permanent status, once their work is completed, as a rule (but
not always) they go back and resume their former duties. They
serve for what we would consider an extraordinary length of time.

These selected angels are strictly companions to all classes
of beings who may chance to be alone on Paradise. Mostly they
act as companions to ascending mortals. Almost every other
beings (aside from fellow pilgrims), mortals will encounter on
Paradise, will have something definite to do with you or for you.
Paradise Companions on the other hand will commune with you as
personality associates.

The Sublime Adventure – LXIV. The Corps of the Finality (1 of 3)

The Corps of Mortal Finaliters represents, at present, the
ultimate destination of the ascending Adjuster-fused mortals of
time.  But they are not the only ones.  The primary finaliter
corps is composed of the following six groups:

  1. Havona Natives
  2. Gravity Messengers
  3. Glorified Mortals
  4. Adopted Seraphim
  5. Glorified Material Sons (The Adams and Eves)
  6. Glorified Midway Creatures

These six groups of glorified personalities presently
minister to the universes of space and administer the worlds
settled in light and life.  Regarding their future career, the
speculation on Uversa is that they will play an important role in
the now organizing universes of outer space.

The Ultimate Adventure

The presumption (of future universes) presented by the two
Authors of this paper (Divine Counsellor and One Without Name and
Number) is further elaborated in these sublime and intriguing
passages:

“We venture the forecast of future and greater outer
universes of inhabited worlds, new spheres peopled with new
orders of exquisite and unique beings, a material universe
sublime in its ultimacy, a vast creation lacking in only one
important detail – the presence of actual finite experience in
the universal life of ascendant existence. Such a universe will
come into being under a tremendous experiential handicap: the
deprivation of participation in the evolution of the Almighty
Supreme. These outer universes will all enjoy the matchless
ministry and supernal overcontrol of the Supreme Being, but the
very fact of his active presence precludes their participation in
the actualization of the Supreme Deity.”

It was with great trepidation that I approached this
difficult subject. It was no easy task to explain the nature of
the Supreme Being, and still keep it simple and approachable to
you.

I gave the matter careful thought and have devised the
following methodology:

First, I am giving you in point form a general overview,
based on information from the Book, of this phase of divinity.

Second, I am quoting passages from the Book to elaborate
upon, and confirm, what I’ve said previously. Note that some
passages may be unrelated to the subject matter, they are here to
add additional meaning to what has been said in the course of
this long narrative. Finally, some quotations are simply
included for the beauty of the language! I hope you will find
them as touching as I did.

4) Humans gradually break the chains of imperfection in the
course of their long climb to Paradise. At the same time, God
gradually liberates Himself from the fetters of perfection. He
does this through the evolving Supreme Being. The Almighty
Supreme can be considered as a derived Deity or a Creator-
creature divinity. This liberation from perfection is not a
capricious act on the part of God, for the Supreme is the
synthetic cumulative total of all grand universe evolution. Put
in a simpler way, God thus gradually draws nearer to his
creation. Keep in mind that even when God the Supreme
actualizes, the Paradise Trinity will always exist as the
Absolute Deity. The Trinity is Absonite, they have no beginnings
or endings. The Supreme on the other hand may be considered as
Finite, He has a beginning but no ending.

11) When the actual sovereignty of the Supreme becomes a
fact, it is possible that He may be resident on Uversa, and rule

vicegerents. This, however, is conjecture on the part of the
Higher Beings.

12) As far away as this may seem now, there will come an end
to the growth of God the Supreme; his status will achieve
completion (in the energy-spirit sense).

Selected Passages

Tentative definitions for God the Supreme, God the Ultimate,
and God the Absolute follows:

“God the Supreme - the actualizing or evolving God of time
and space. Personal Deity associatively realizing the time-space
experiential achievement of creature-Creator identity. The
Supreme Being is personally experiencing the achievement of Deity
unity as the evolving and experiential God of the evolutionary
creatures of time and space.”

“If all grand universes should ever relatively achieve the
full living of the will of God, then would the time-space
creations be settled in light and life, and then would the
Almighty, the deity potential of Supremacy, become factual in the
emergence of the divine personality of God the Supreme.”

“When an evolving mind becomes attuned to the circuits of
cosmic minds, when an evolving universe becomes stabilized after
the pattern of the central universe, when an advancing spirit
contacts the united ministry of the Master Spirits, when an
ascending mortal personality finally attunes to the divine
leading of the indwelling Adjuster, then has the actuality of the
Supreme become real by one more degree in the universes; then has
the divinity of Supremacy advanced one more step toward cosmic
realization.”

“The Supreme is the beauty of physical harmony, The truth of
intellectual meaning, and the goodness of spiritual value. He is
the sweetness of true success and the joy of everlasting
achievement. He is the oversoul of the grand universe, the
consciousness of the finite cosmos, the completion of finite
reality, and the personification of Creator-creature experience.
Throughout all future eternity God the Supreme will voice the
reality of volitional experience in the trinity relationships of
Deity.” [P1278].

“It is conjectured that at this far-distant time the spirit
person of the Supreme and attained power of the Almighty will
have achieved co-ordinate development, and that both, as unified
in and by the Supreme Mind, will factualize as the Supreme Being,
a completed actuality in the universes – an actuality which will
be observable by all creatures intelligences, reacted to by all
created energies, co-ordinated in all spiritual entities, and
experienced by all universe personalities.”

“This concept implies the actual sovereignty of the Supreme
in the grand universe. It is altogether likely that the present
Trinity administrators will continue as his vicegerents, but we
believe that the present demarcations between the seven
superuniverses will gradually disappear, and that the entire
grand universe will function as a perfected whole.” [P1292].

If I go far enough in time, I find a 12-year-old boy
standing on his balcony in Cairo. This little boy is me, and I
am looking up at the night sky.

What a glorious spectacle this was: The sky was lit by the
light of myriad of stars; a blanket of diamonds stretched across
the heavens; God’s poetry in light. And all this was long before
light and air pollution stole the night sky away.

At the time, this was more than a light-show for me. These
countless celestial bodies stirred deep emotions in me. Every
one of them could potentially be a world with people like us. (I
was unaware at the time that these were suns similar to our own
sun). I knew there was a Creator in charge of this immense
universe; I was also aware of the fact that there were rulers
called the Ancients of Days who acted on God’s behalf.

next, our Planetary Prince betrayed His trust; the downfall of
Adam and Eve followed; the seraphim could not properly minister
to us being themselves isolated; finally, the messages of first
Machiventa Melchizedek, and next Jesus got all confused over the
centuries. Poor me! Couldn’t I have been born on a normal
planet? And so it went during the years spent reading the Book.
Today, some 25 years later, I consider myself very lucky to have
been born on this planet. Why the change of heart?
