At this point of the narrative, you may still be concerned
about surviving physical death. This is normal. Reassurance
will come in time. You may want to read part of the book online.
Surely, if you do that, you will realize that the content could
not have been dreamed by another human, and put through in such
beautiful and precise language. If you conclude that the papers
were presented by Higher Beings, then ask yourself the question:
Why would they lie to us?
There is of course the matter of adjudication to determine
if you should or should not survive. Rest assured that all
efforts are made to save a soul, even the smallest flicker of
spirituality will be accepted as a valid starting point.
Orvonton is a very merciful superuniverse. In this part of the
grand universe, they are willing to risk rebellion to save a
mortal from oblivion!
I hope that this part will offer added reassurance:
“As to the chances of mortal survival, let it be made
forever clear: All souls of every possible phase of mortal
existence will survive provided they manifest willingness to co-
operate with their indwelling Adjusters and exhibit a desire to
find God and to attain divine perfection, even though these
desires be but the first faint flickers of the primitive
comprehension of that ‘true light which lights every man who
comes into the world” [P447].

I wish to conclude this presentation with messages of
thanks.
Thank you Father for having created me, placed me on this
challenging planet, and provided for all my needs. Your plan to
help me reach the shores of Paradise and stand one day in Your
Presence will be faithfully followed.
Thank you Michael for having chosen this planet, among
million of others in your universe, to incarnate in the flesh.
You lifted us from obscurity; truly as you said when you dwelt
among us: “The last shall be the first …”.
My thanks go to all the Higher Personalities who came one by
one to dictate their share of the revelations to this quarantined
sphere. Those of us who have learned from you will not rest
until the darkness is lifted and the light of truth allowed to
shine on this forlorn planet.
My thanks go to the midwayers who solicited these
revelations, and learned (as I understand it) the finest English
to help put them in the Lingua Franca of the realm.
My thanks go to the humans who, at the turn of the 20th
century, worked with the Celestial Beings; without them there
would be no Urantia Book! Speaking of humans, our work is not
yet completed, really, it has just begun. The Urantia foundation
in Chicago, and its numerous satellites across the world, labor
tirelessly to spread the teachings of the Book, they (indeed all
humans who have accepted the Book) will not rest until this world
stops being considered as a backward and primitive planet.
I wish to thank my parents for raising me from a helpless
infant to the adult I am today. They were advanced beyond their
time and have helped shape the individual I am today. They have
now passed away, but I know I will see them, and thank them in
person, on the mansion worlds. Since in Egypt so many people
contribute to the upbringing of a child (see my article: Child-
Rearing – An Ancient Formula), I extend my thanks to them as well
and look forward to meeting them on the system of Satania.
Finally, I thank all my readers who have taken the time to
travel with me through the voyage of infinity. Being still
human, and therefore subject to the sin of vanity, I would like
to think that some of you will remember, eons from now, that I
was the first to break the good news to you!
