The Mansion World Teachers
During our life on a trial world of space we have assigned
to us a personal (for an advanced mortal) or a group seraphim,
the guardian of destiny (what we call here on Earth a guardian
angel). On a planet of time and space, seraphim are ably
assisted by cherubim and sanobim. But when the mortal ward of a
seraphim is delivered from the fetters of the flesh and reach the
mansion worlds, she has no further need of the ministrations of
her former lieutenants, the cherubim and sanobim. They are at
this stage deserted cherubim and sanobim. But they do not remain
unemployed for long. (Twiddling your thumbs on the higher
spheres is a non-starter!)
These deserted assistants of the seraphim are often summoned
to universe headquarters, where they are embraced by the Universe
Mother Spirit and reemerges as Mansion World Teachers. They may
also elect to again be associated with a ministering seraphim.
“There are billions upon billions of these teachers on
Satania, and their number constantly increase because in the
majority of instances, when a seraphim proceed inward with an
adjuster-fused mortal, both a cherubim and a sanobim are left
behind.”
These advanced angels usually work in pair and are
inherently sympathetic teachers of the ascenders. They conduct
the program of the mansion world and morontia educational system.
These things which you might have learned on Earth, but
which you failed to learn (for instance, a person may arrive on
the mansion worlds totally illiterate, or with an abysmal lack of
knowledge of basic mathematics) will be taught to you by these
patient teachers. “There are no royal roads, shortcuts, or easy
path to paradise.” Whatever your individual situation, there are
prerequisites, you cannot advance to the next sphere unprepared.
These beings do more than teach; they work (together with
other personalities) at eradicating such animal traits which
still persist: procrastination, equivocation, insincerity,
problem avoidance, unfairness, and ease-seeking. “The mansonia
life early teaches the young morontia pupils that postponement is
in no sense avoidance. After the life in the flesh, time is no
longer available as a technique of dodging situations or of
circumventing disagreeable obligations.” (Surely a teacher here
on Earth will recognize that her work is not limited to teaching
her subject matter).
The Mansion World Teachers start on the lowest levels of the
tarrying spheres and advance through the educational spheres of
the system and the constellation to the training worlds of
Salvington.
“In the schools of the morontia life these teachers engage
in individual, group, class, and mass teaching. On the mansion
worlds such schools are organized in three general groups of one
hundred divisions each: the schools of thinking, the schools of
feeling, and the schools of doing. When you reach the
constellation, there are added the schools of ethics, the schools
of administration, and the schools of social adjustment. On the
universe headquarters worlds, you will enter the schools of
philosophy, divinity, and pure spirituality.”
Those teachers who have served for a long period on the
Salvington worlds, are re-embraced by the Universe Mother Spirit,
and from this second embrace, these cherubim and sanobim emerge
with the status of seraphim. [P550 & 551].
